Quarter Horse Im Buying?
So im putting my horse down, he has a fractured spine, and wont get better unless he has surgery which is 12000 dollars, i don’t have that money, my farrier is selling my his yearling for 700 dollars, its a registered Quarter Horse, out of Doc Bar D and his Impressive in him he will be 2 in march and is already 15.2 hands tall. HE IS HUGE! I do dressage, and he has perfect dressage legs, he is all legs magnificent for some one who has only had thoroughbreds my entire life. But i dont know how Quarter Horses do in dressage, i’m thinking of maybe doing something else with him, but have only done eventing, dressage, and jumpers, no western. Should i stick with what i know, or leave my bounds and learn something he may excel in better?
